Passionate heart

Sunrise in Jerusalem… just the thought of it stirs my heart to joyful tears. No matter how many times I am privileged to be present for a Jerusalem sunrise, I somehow feel the fresh awe of God’s handwritten love note to His people.

It is one of the most captivating displays of His glory, promises, and passionate heart!

The walk of a true believer has become clearly an act of war. We don’t have to be looking for a battle to discover the war is real and we are on the front lines.

Yet the longer I walk as a child of God, I hear His heart for me to come and worship in and over the battle. I must confess… this is not my natural first thought. I immediately want to access my human instinct and physical strength, possibly call a friend and recite the injustice, and at times simply crumble under the emotional weight with tears.
